Why €49, not €15

What you get for €49 that €15 providers do not deliver

There are providers at €15 per month. They are cheaper than we are. The reason solopreneurs, freelancers and companies seated elsewhere still come to us: they do not want to sit on a shared address with 500 other companies. Three factual differences.

Pure mail-address backends manage hundreds of clients digitally at one address, with no physical presence. Here the address is a coworking location in Schöneberg, with your company name visible at reception.

Clean GwG identification

§ 2 GwG requires us to identify you. We use a BaFin-approved identification process, usually done in 15 minutes. With very cheap providers that sometimes fails, with consequences when you open a bank account.

Common questions about the imprint address

What you should know before you order

Yes. § 5 DDG (formerly § 5 TMG) requires an address at which you are established. A real address with reception and company name meets that. Pure PO-box addresses do not meet § 5 DDG; our setup does.
Yes. As an address provider Space Shack is GwG-obliged. We identify you through a BaFin-approved process. For natural persons (solopreneur, freelancer) it is a light process: ID copy and a short identification step. Retention period 5–10 years.
No. For commercial-register filing you need our Pro package (€90). That includes the usage confirmation for notary and register court. The Imprint package is explicitly for natural persons without register needs and for representation clients. If you form a company later, you can upgrade at any time.
No. A pure business address is not a permanent establishment under § 12 AO as long as no fixed business facility with power of disposal is added. If you deliberately do not want a Berlin permanent establishment (because your seat is elsewhere), book the Imprint package and, if needed, use a single coworking day pass as a guest.
For a German imprint duty under § 5 DDG it is enough. Whether a German permanent establishment or corporate-tax duty arises depends on the individual case. If you actively sell in Germany, a German tax advisor should review it. We will tell you in a short call whether the package fits the setup.
No. Mail forwarding is an add-on on all packages: €40/month plus actual postage. For most imprint clients, personal collection at the front desk is enough if they are in Berlin. Forwarding costs us money per item, so it is not hidden in the base price.
Yes, for invoices to your clients and for contracts with vendors or clients the package is enough. What does NOT work: commercial-register filing, a ladungsfähige address for courts and enforcement, or opening a bank account with this address as the company seat. For that you need Business Address Pro (€90) or Premium (€149).
Mail scan is an add-on on all three packages: €40/month flat for up to 30 scans per month. If you get little mail and it is rarely urgent, Imprint without the scan add-on is enough. Anyone who needs mail digitally on a regular basis books the scan service on top.
Yes. Your imprint address with us is not a pure letterbox address. You have explicit reception access Mon–Fri 9–17. Mail collection, short stays at reception and personal presence for couriers or officials are part of your contract. That makes the address a place of actual presence in the sense of the case law on § 5 DDG.
No. Monthly cancellation, no lock-in, no automatic renewal. If it does not fit, you cancel at the end of the month.
We keep incoming mail for 90 days after the contract ends. On request we forward it against postage. No cliff, no sudden mail-loss risk.
As soon as the contract and identification are done. Usually the same day. After that you can change your address in the imprint, invoices and contact details.
Because you are not sitting in a shared administration with hundreds of other companies. Space Shack has been in Berlin since 2016, with reception Mon–Fri 9–17, documented GwG identification and a location that banks and the register court know. If your imprint should be taken seriously, that is a difference. If price is everything, we are not the right provider.
